We are deep into the planning for our 20th climb and as part of that, we embarked on a process to refresh our climb’s logo. We've been working with Zac Varela to conceptualize a logo that captures everything our climb stands for. We are very excited to share the results of his artistry and vision, and we’d like to call your attention to some of the different elements of the logo. You’ll see that there are nods to our home state with the mountains in the background, and you might also notice that the firefighter is wearing a Denver standpipe pack - specifically with 2.5” hose and a solid bore nozzle. That firefighter is gazing upwards, looking forward to the work ahead while also paying respect to the memories of the FDNY members that have died on or since 9/11. The font design shows appreciation for the significance and importance of a memorial event. And finally, the flag is the centerpiece of our shared commitment to remembering the sacrifices made on our behalf, and a singular statement that we make each September 11 (Patriot Day) to Never Forget.
